William Wolford Obituary

William J. Wolford, 70, of Cortland, passed away Monday morning, January 27, 2020, in the ER of St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.

He was born January 24, 1950 in Mercer County, Pa., the son of William and Pearl Johnston Wolford.

He was a truck driver for Prop Logistics in Warren.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and fishing.

William is survived by three daughters, Charmaine (Mark) Wolford-Japuncha of Warren, Jolene (Dave) Lewis of Howland and Crystal (Nick) Demes of Youngstown; six grandchildren, Jessica, Lizzie, Mark, Jr., Jeffery, Olivia and Evan ; a sister, Susan Foltz of Orangeville and two brothers, Richard Wolford of Vernon and Thomas Wolford of Kinsman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patricia Law.

Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

The funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Matt Lowe from the Journey Christian Church in Cortland officiating.

Interment will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
