William H. Nagel, 79, of Hartford Township, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. from ongoing medical issues.
He was born September 19, 1941 in Pittsburgh, the son of Helmuth and Regina Petraitis Nagel.
He was a resident of Hartford since 1965.
He held a position as one of the head mechanics at Becket Aviation at the Youngstown Municipal Airport for a couple of years before opening Hartford Equipment Company where he sold farm equipment for 17 years. He later became a full time farmer raising beef cattle and crops.
He was a member of St. Thomas, the Apostle Catholic Church in Vienna.
He is survived by his wife, whom he was married to for 57 years, Karen Fink Nagel; two daughters, Darlene R. Nagel and Tammy A. (Renny) Goldstein; two sons, William C. (Lonna) Nagel and Mark H. (Theresa) Nagel; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a brother, Dennis A. (Nancy) Nagel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, Ohio 44473, on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Galloway Onstott Funeral Home.
