William Paul Morris, 92, of Burghill, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at his home.
He was born June 2, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of William Audrey and Ann Williamson Morris.
He retired from Warren Tool after working 30 some years. He then worked for Horodyski Brothers and Co. in Burghill.
William was a member of the Orangeville Baptist Church where he was a deacon and taught an adult Bible study. He was a little league coach when his sons were playing summer baseball. He then played as an adult for a work team.
He married his wife, Carabelle Scott Morris, on June 26, 1953. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2025.
He is survived by six children, Gary (Marie) Morris of Kinsman, Danny (Lisa) Morris of Colorado, Brenda (Carlos) Antolin of Washington, Betty (Mark) Burley of Howland, Scott (Valarie) Morris of Virginia and Carol (Robert) Peterson of Johnston; a son-in-law Phil Stanhope; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Warner of Florida.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Donna Marie Stanhope; a son, Terry Bryan Morris and his wife, Cheryl Morris; and four brothers, Howard Thomas, Donald, Ronald and Edward Morris.
Friends and relatives may call at Galloway Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, OH 44424 on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Harley Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Hartford Township Cemetery.
