Virginia McPeak, 90, of Kinsman, passed away Wednesday evening, January 8, 2020, at Lake Vista in Cortland.
She was born December 9, 1929 in Williamsfield, the daughter of George and Alice Williams Stevens.
She retired from Packard Electric as an inspector after working 25 years.
Virginia attended the Vernon United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing bingo and mowing the grass in her yard.
She married Carlton “Buck” McPeak on January 27, 1951. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2002.
She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Jean “DJ” Hunter of Marble Falls, TX; a son, Richard McPeak of Southington; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, George L. (Delores) Stevens of Cortland and Harlan (Sandy) Stevens of Zephyr Hills, FL.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis; and two sisters, Dorothy and Louise.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to a person’s favorite charity.
Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Monday, January 13, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to noon. The funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
