Timothy J. Cole, 72, of Burghill, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at his home under the very caring talents of Traditions Hospice.
He was born April 28, 1950 in Sharon, PA, the son of Romain Fredrick Cole and Margaret Mary Jofery Cole.
Timothy was a Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam era, 1968-1972.
He graduated from Sharon High School. After working at National Casting until it closed, he attended Theil College, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. He then attended Y.S.U., where he received his Master’s Degree.
He taught at Y.S.U., Theil College and Mt. Union. He retired from 717 Credit Union in 2012.
Timothy enjoyed being with his family and putting model cars together. He was also a social media fanatic.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Whitmore Cole, whom he married December 24, 1980; two daughters, Timary Cole and Ariel (Michael) Kovach; seven sons, Gabriel (Robbie) Cole, Benjamin (Amber) Cole, Daniel (Nikki) Cole, Michael (Emmalie) Cole, Harrison (Kelly) Cole, Dante (Sara) Cole and Raphael ( fiancée Natalie Christy) Cole; twenty-one grandchildren, Robert Carlo II, Nathan and Brianna Cole, Varonyka Garvey, Athena and Tessa Lindus, and Aiden, Casen, Connor, Liam, Paislee, Mason, Kaylei, Zoey, Issac, Michaela, Camden, Sophie, Blake, Bentley and Bradley Cole; a sister-in-law, Devenna Cole and his very special cat, Charlie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dennis Cole; an infant brother, Jamie; an infant son, Donovan and his first wife, Mary Lynn Cole.
At his request, there will be no public services.
Arrangements were entrusted to Galloway Onstott Funeral Home, Hartford.
