Thomas E. Barfay
Thomas E. Barfay, 78, of Vienna, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 24, 2023, at U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born April 25, 1945 in Warren, the son of John and Elizabeth McNeil Barfay.
He was a Fowler High School graduate and a U.S. Navy veteran serving a tour in Vietnam as a corpsman.
Thomas was a tool and die maker at Packard Electric.
He and his brothers were owners of the Barfay Sales and Service shop in Johnston.
He belonged to Harvest Christian Assembly of God Church in Howland.
He is survived by a daughter, Renee (Brian) Wallace of Allison Park, PA; two grandchildren, Andrew and Meredith Wallace of Allison Park; a sister, Elizabeth DeJean of Vienna; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Thomas E. Barfay II; and two brothers, John and Daniel Barfay.

Friends and relatives may call at the Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 3 to 5 p.m.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Fowler Community Church, 4651 St. Rt. 305, Fowler, with Rev. Ron Biehl, of the Harvest Christian Assembly of God Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Dugan Cemetery, Fowler.
