Sandra H. Maybee 82, of Burghill, Ohio died peacefully on August 17, 2025. Born November 1, 1942, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, she leaves behind a life full of love, family, faith, and community.

Sandra was a lifelong resident of Burghill, Ohio and a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Church in Kinsman, Ohio. She found strength and comfort in her faith throughout her life.

Above all, Sandra was a loving grandmother. The best times in her life were spent with her grandchildren. She was always there to cheer them on in their accomplishments, share her wisdom, and love them unconditionally. Her warmth, guidance, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Sandra was an adventurous traveler and loved to see new places. She had many adventures in her lifetime and Alaska was a special place for her. Sandra felt at peace in the wild beauty of Alaska. But she had a favorite destination that was much closer to home. Her favorite place to visit was Salt Fork State Park. She made many beautiful memories there with her family. She also loved spending time in her garden.

She is survived by her son, Michael Maybee of Fowler, Ohio; her beloved grandchildren, Lauren, Olivia, and Andrew Maybee; her sisters, Elaine Kocis of Howland, Ohio and Norma (Allan) Palm of Cortland, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Maybee; her daughter, Sharon Maybee; two infant sons; her sisters, Marie Jakubec and Carolyn Berecek; and her parents, Andy and Louise Kocis.

Calling hours will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5-7PM at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, OH. Saturday at 12:30 PM, there will be a Mass at St. Patrick’s Church in Kinsman, Ohio, with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery.
