Phyllis Jones, 86, of Hartford Twp., passed away Friday morning, March 29, 2019, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1932 in Sharon, the daughter of Howard and Zella Greggs Pyle.

She retired as co-owner and operator with her husband of Jones Market in Hartford.

She was a member of the Hartford Community Church and the O.E.S. #518 in Hartford.  She also greatly enjoyed her card club and all those who would play cards with her.

January 10, 1951, she married Marlin “Red” Jones, who preceded her in death on July 11, 2016.

Phyllis is survived by a daughter, Marlys (Michael) Brajer of Ocala, FL; two sons, Terry (Tina) Jones of Hartford and Mark (Becky) Jones of Audubon, IA; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m.

The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Meikle, pastor of the Hartford Community Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Hartford Township Cemetery.
