Nancy C. Poltar, 78, of Fowler, passed away Monday night, January 11, 2021, at Sharon Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 16, 1942 in Sharon, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Ruth Brown Jones.
Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Hartford High School.
She retired from the G.E. Ohio Lamp Plant shipping dept. after working 31 years.
She was a member of the Hartford Community Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and the quilting group. Her hobbies were sewing and quilting.
Nancy is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hubbard of Fowler; a son, Kenneth Poltar of Grafton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Quintin Hubbard and his wife, Chloe, and Alexandra Hubbard-Rhoads and her husband, Tony; one brother, Ronald Jones of Vienna; a brother-in-law, Bill Clupper; nieces, Sharon Zimmerman and Kari Filipovich; and a nephew, Randy Hilliard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Velva Clupper; a sister-in-law, Linda Jones; and a niece, Lori Ott.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to the Memorial Fund of the Hartford Community Church, P.O. Box 38, Hartford, Ohio 44424.
Graveside services will be held at the Hartford Township Cemetery at a later date for Nancy.
