Mary Kathryn Cleland

Mary Kathryn Cleland, 77, of Fowler, formerly of Mayfield, Ohio, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, August 1, 2025.

She was born December 23, 1947 in Warren, the daughter of William G. and Margaret Dahman Cleland.

She was a graduate of Kent State University.

Mary was a nurse at the University Hospital in Cleveland, retiring as the assistant head nurse.

She belonged to the Nottingham Baptist Church in Willoughby, where she was very active in missions.

Mary is survived by a sister, Margaret Rising of Fowler and two brothers, Tom (Sue) Cleland of Fowler and David Cleland of Pompano Beach, Florida.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Johnston Cemetery – North, Johnston, Ohio.  Rev. David Fergason will officiate.
