Laura Mary Davis

Laura Mary Davis, 94, of Fowler, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at St. Paul Homes in Greenville, PA.

She was born March 28, 1931 in Sharon, PA, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Reynolds Snider.

She graduated from Hartford High School.

Laura retired from Packard Electric after working 30 years in assembly.

She was a member of the Hartford Community Church, where she worked many years in the food bank of the church. She was a deaconess and a Sunday school teacher.

October 19, 1950, she married David Stecher.  He passed away December 9, 1975.  She then married Miland V. Davis on October 6, 1977.  He preceded her in death on February 19, 2013.

She is survived by a daughter, Charlene (Arthur) Schultz of Greenville; three step-daughters, Barb Siekkinen of Kinsman, Peggy (David) Kananen of Jacksonville, FL and Ruth Lee of Laramie, WY; three step-sons, Paul (Mary Ann) Davis of Selinsville, Frank (Nina) Davis of Girard and Floyd (Amy) Davis of Kinsman; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Garlock of Kinsman and a brother, Ed (Toots) Snider of Kinsman.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Donna D. Miller; a son, David C. Stecher; a  step-son, David Davis; a sister, Anna Mae; three brothers, Paul, Frank, and George Snider; a great-grandson, Danny Jr. and a great-great grandson, Isais Greyson.

Visiting hours will be held at the Galloway Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, OH 44424 on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 11 a.m. to noon. 

The funeral service will be held at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Tjader officiating.

Burial will be in Hartford Township Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the giver’s favorite charity in her name.
