Keith Emery Sr.

Keith Emery Sr., 68, of Kinsman, Vernon Township, passed away, surrounded by his family, Saturday night, December 2, 2023, at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.

He was born September 24, 1955 in Youngstown, the son of Robert Emery Sr. and Delores Little Emery.

Keith was a 1974 graduate of Badger High School.

He had been crew leader at Hawley Landscaping in Vienna.

He enjoyed being outside, gardening, fishing and drawing.  He liked watching NASCAR and westerns. He liked spending time with his grandkids and playing poker with his boys. The song “Bad to the Bone” always brought out his wild side.  Keith also loved his cat, Trixie.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Brainard Emery, whom he married December 15, 1973.  This year would have been their 50th anniversary.

Keith is also survived by his five children, Kristine (Charles Jr.) Marshall of Farmdale, Keith (Danielle) Emery Jr. of Farmdale,  Klinton (Jessica) Emery of Howland, Deidre (David) Baker of Burghill and Garrett (Andrea) Emery of Mineral Ridge; ten grandchildren, Katelyn, Christopher, Kelsey, Elizabeth, Isabelle, Gage, Kayla, Jackson, Weston and Owen; and five great-grandchildren, Carson, Reid, Braxton, Rowan and Hallie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Delores Emery; a granddaughter, Gabrielle Emery and a sister, Diane Gontz.

Private services were held for Keith with burial in Westview Cemetery. Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiated the services.
