Obituary
Kathryn Elaine Lamont, 71, of Farrell, passed away Saturday morning, October 30, 2021, at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hermitage.
She was born October 17, 1950 in Sharon, the daughter of Wilbur and Violet Palmer Hughes.
She was a cook at Basilones in Farrell.
She married Charles Lamont in November 1974. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2019.
Kathryn was an avid reader, enjoyed crafting and working.
She is survived by a daughter, Michelle George of Hubbard; a son, Marcus (Heather) Lamont of Orangeville; six grandchildren, Johnathon George, Jeremy Odum, Kora George, Jessica Smith, Machella Lamont, and Alexander Lamont; three great-grandchildren, Riley George, Addison and Wesley Smith and two sisters, Barbara Thompson of Hubbard and Marilyn Uncapher of Liberty.
Friends and family may call at Galloway- Onstott Funeral Home, on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Her memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
Interment will follow at Hartford Township Cemetery at a future date.
