Karen Cecilia Nagel, 79, of Hartford Township, passed away at Hospice House in Poland on Friday morning, July 11, 2025.
She was born August 23, 1945 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Charles G. and Thelma Rimert Fink.
July 25, 1964 she married William H. Nagel. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2021.
Karen was a homemaker who kept busy raising her family. She was also known in the Hartford area for her cakes.
She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Vienna. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the Church and the prayer shawl ministry group. She was a Eucharistic minister at the church and at a local nursing home.
Karen is survived by two daughters, Darlene R. Nagel of Volant, PA and Tammy A. (Renny) Goldstein of Tampa, FL; two sons, William C. (Lonna) Nagel of Hartford and Mark H. (Theresa) Nagel of Pace, FL; ten grandchildren, Nathan, Amber, Michelle, Sarah, William R., Zachary, Payton, Sierra, Amelia, and Noah; two great-grandchildren, Serenity and Lovella; a sister, Joanne (Joseph) Pisowicz of Pittsburgh; and two brothers, Charles L. (Joanne) Fink of Naperville, IL and David (Collette) Fink of Pittsburgh.
She was only preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
There will be no services at the present time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a future date. At that time burial will be in the Hartford Township Cemetery.
