Joseph W. Frantz, Jr.

Joseph W. Frantz, Jr., 69, of Burghill, passed away Thursday afternoon, September 9, 2021, at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.

He was born July 21, 1952 in Warren, the son of Joseph W. Frantz, Sr. and Vesta Starkey Frantz.

He retired from McGill Septic Tank Co. in Kinsman in 2020 as a foreman.  But he still went to work every day.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working and being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Cornell Frantz, whom he married July 20, 1974; two daughters, Bethanie L. (Rusty Cassell) Frantz of Kinsman and Susan M. Frantz of Burghill; two sons, Joseph W. (Mary Brown) Frantz III of Hubbard and Joshua A. (Sara) Frantz of West Mecca; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Carol L. Martof of Fowler, Betsy A. (Russell) Bacon of N.C., Donna E. (Robert) Kelly of Kinsman, Sarah S. (Russell) Cornell of Kinsman and Barbara L. Barry of Kinsman; four brothers, James R. Frantz of Kinsman, Robert L. Frantz of Kinsman, Martin A. (Crystal) Frantz of Burghill and Marvin W. Frantz of Burghill.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 3 to 5 p.m.  The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
