THE SATURDAY MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR JOE HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE WHEN FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAN SAFELY GATHER TOGETHER. WE WILL PUT THE NEW DATE ON THIS SITE AND IN THE TRIBUNE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.
Joseph M. Dudley, Jr., 41, of Farmdale, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, due to injuries from a traffic accident.
He was born September 15, 1978 in Warren, the son of Marjorie Smith and Joseph Dudley, Sr.
He was a construction worker for Chris Wade Construction in Cortland.
He loved hunting and fishing more than life itself. He could make you laugh with his made up poems, even if you were mad at him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by his loving mother, Marjorie Smith of Kinsman; two daughters, Alexandria Penn and Nevaeh Dudley, both of Vernon; a son, Darren Dudley of Jamestown, Pa.; a step-sister, Stephanie Shoemaker of W.V.; kids he called his own, Prestin Carroll, Rodric and Riley Hartman; and his dog, Bobo.
He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Betty and Keith Smith and Helen and John Dudley, Sr.; and his best friend, David Waite.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to drug rehab programs in your area.
