Joseph Dagres, Sr., of Kinsman, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 2, 2023, at U.P.M.C. Greenville hospital ER.
He was born April 11, 1951 in New Castle, Pa., the son of James Dagres, Sr. and Edna Mae Minner Dagres.
Joseph was a truck driver. He had driven for Preston, Metropolitan, New Century and JNB Transport.
He married Lyda Parola on July 24, 1982. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2012.
He is survived by a daughter, Michele (John) Hruska of Stow; four sons, Joseph Dagres, Jr. and James Dagres, both of Grove City, Gary (Whitney) Dagres of Cleveland and Josh (Mandy) Dagres of Hermitage; four grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, Brandon and Clark; multiple great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (Don) Shirley of Kingman, AZ; and three brothers, James (Karen) Dagres of Kingman, AZ, Bob (Kathy) Dagres of New Castle and Bill (Kathy) Dagres of Kingman, AZ
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Dagres and a son, lance corporal Michael Dagres.
Friends and family may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, Ohio, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from noon to 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
