Johnathon Thomas George

 Johnathon Thomas George, 32, of Cortland, formerly of Hubbard, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in the ER of St. Elizabeth Health Center due to a motorcycle accident.

He was born May 24, 1991 in Hampton, Virginia, the son of Thomas and Michelle Hughes George.

He was a laborer at Howmet Aerospace in Niles.

He was a motorcycle and car enthusiast.  He loved to rebuild cars and spend time with his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle George of Hubbbard; his father, Thomas George of Masury ; his fianc’ee, Hannah Miller of Cortland; his daughter, Riley George of Cortland; two sisters, Kora George and her fianc’e, William Rinehart, of Boardman and Casey George of Sharon; and two brothers, Jeremy Odum of Hubbard and Tyler George of Hermitage.

He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Relatives and friends may call at the Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 3 to 5 p.m. to greet the family and remember Johnathon.

A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.

Burial of the cremains will be in the Hartford Township Cemetery.
