John G. Waszo

John G. Waszo, 65, of Kinsman, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, February 18, 2019, at his home.

He was born July 29, 1953 in Erie, PA, the son of John and Caroline Kaczenski Waszo.

He was a graduate of Cathedral Prep in Erie.

John retired from Tarkett in Middlefield as a press operator.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a thirty year passion for long horned cattle.

John is survived by two daughters, Ashley (Robert Ostrode) of Hubbard and Carly (Kevin Cline) Hoon of Kinsman; two grandchildren, Dominick Rondini and Madilyn Thompson;a sister, Michele Sears of Lapeer, MI; a niece, Christen Sears of Grand Rapids, MI; three nephews, David Sears of Grand Blanc, MI, Nicholas Sears of Adrian, MI and Joe (Kate) Sears of Niles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Dawn Renee Waszo.

Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be on Friday, February 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gustavus Cemetery.
