John D. Cline

John (“C”line) Cline, 79, of Kinsman, passed away at Andover Village on Tuesday evening, June 21, 2022, with his family by his side.

He was born September 19, 1942 in Frost, Ohio, the son of Bill and Mabel Philips Cline.

He graduated from Belpre High School and earned an associate degree from Washington State Community College in Marietta, Ohio.

He retired from Dupont Washington Works after over 30 years of employment.  After retirement, he was an over-the-road truck driver.

John served in the U.S. Army in the early 1960’s where he was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany.

He was married to Sandra Emery Cline since March 15, 1996.

John loved music and history and was an avid reader.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Amy (John) Brookover of Davisville, W.V. and Rebecca (Mark) Duckworth of Marietta ; a step-daughter, Dawn (Al) Redarowicz of Vienna; three step-sons, David (Terraina) Dahman of Greenville, Robert (Antanette) Dahman of Buchanan, W.V. and Scotty (Pennie) Dahman of Howland; fifteen grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bonnie Lu Williams of Vienna, W.V. and three great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Harlan Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Kinsman Cemetery.
