Janice I. Stowe

Janice I. Stowe, 69, of Kent, passed away Thursday morning, February 13, 2020, at her home with her family.

She was born in Hartford, the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth Jones Canfield.

Janice was a registered nurse.  She had worked at TMMG in Cortland and also at Cortland Quality Healthcare.  She retired in 2015 from a profession that she loved.

On June 13, 1997, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Stowe, whom she married September 30, 1972.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Richard) Oettinger of Kent and a grandson, Brandon.

Friends and relatives may call at Galloway Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Monday evening, February 17, 2020, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.  A celebration of her life will be at 6:30 p.m.
