James Whipkey, 72, of Cortland, passed away Sunday morning, September 30, 2018, at Concord Care of Hartford

He was born September 13, 1946 in Warren, the son of Paul A. and Irene Rhodes Whipkey.

He owned and operated Coshocton Cycle in Coshocton, Ohio.

He was a member of the Fowler Community Church, the Christian Motorcycle Association and the St. Andrews Society.

He loved motorcycles and family genealogy.

James is survived by nieces, Cathie Floch, Patti Williams, Robin Whipkey and Rita Krajnik.

Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, on Friday, October 5, 2018, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.  The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Joel Dickson of the Fowler Community Church officiating.

Burial will be in Dugan Cemetery in Fowler.
