Obituary
Pastor James E. Stewart, Sr., 81, of Burghill, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at Hospice House in Poland with his family by his side.
He was born June 16, 1940 in Mingo Junction, OH, the son of Donald and Hazel Summerville Stewart.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He retired from Warren Fabricating as a truck driver. He was also a Pastor at several area churches, Charity Baptist Church, Burghill Baptist Church and Orangeville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Bloss Stewart, whom he married October 27, 1989; four daughters, Kim (Chuck) Cameron of Warren, Marcy Fetty of Warren, Kelly (Kevin) Holmes of Ashtabula and Jennifer (Bill) Titchnell of Cortland; three sons, James E. Stewart, Jr. of Warren, Chris Van Meter of Hartford and Geno Van Meter of Kinsman; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda; two sons, Donald and Brian; two sisters and a brother.

There were no services for Pastor Stewart due to Covid.
Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home.
