Obituary
James Roy Frantz, 73, of Kinsman, passed away at Addison Healthcare in Masury, Thursday night, September 1, 2022.
He was born October 11, 1948 in Sharpsville, PA, the son of Joseph W. and Vesta Starkey Frantz.
He retired from Malleable in Sharon, where he worked 11 years as a crane laborer.
He married Norann Letcher Frantz on February 14, 2013. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2016.
He is survived by eight children, Brenda Carr, Linda Williams, John (Tracy) Frantz, James Frantz, Jr., Steven (Melissa) Frantz, Michael (LeAnndra) Frantz, Heather Chavarria-Riveria and Jason Frantz; eight brothers and sisters, Carol Martof, Betsy (Russell) Bacon, Robert Frantz, Donna (Robert) Kelley, Sarah (Russell) Cornell, Barbara Barry, Martin (Crystal) Frantz and Marvin Frantz.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph Frantz.
Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, OH 44424 on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Vernon township.
