Jacob Jones

Jacob Jones, 38, of Cortland, formerly of Hartford, passed away Thursday morning, September 1, 2022, at St. Joseph Health Center.

He was born February 2, 1984 in Warren, the son of Terry and Sandra Muir Jones.

He was a 2002 graduate of Badger High School and earned his B.S. from Youngstown State University in 2008.

He worked as a respiratory therapist in the C.T.A. department of the Cleveland Clinic, Main Campus.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Jones of Cortland; his father, Terry Jones of Hartford; a sister, Jenna (Sean) Little of Pipersville, PA; niece, Nora Little; nephew, Isaac Little; and step-grandmother, Lana Muir.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carol Muir and Edward N. Muir and his paternal grandparents, Phyllis and Marley Jones.

A time of gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022,  at the Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford.  A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
