Edward Hassell Obituary
Edward L. Hassell, 90, of Kinsman, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Sharon Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 22, 1931 in Masury, Ohio, the son of Albert V. and Dortha Ritenour Hassell.
He retired from the former Kraft Food in Farmdale, where he worked in production.
He was an Air Force veteran serving from 1951 to 1955. He served in Japan during the Korean Conflict.
He married Virginia Holler on August 21, 1954. She preceded him in death on December 28, 2012.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Edward is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Kotanchek of Kinsman; a son, Terry (Katherine) Hassell of Greenville, PA; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Jonell Hassell of Howland.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Morrison and Donaldeen Brei.
Private services will be held for the family with burial in Westview Cemetery.
