Earl Johnson Obituary
Earl R. Johnson, 97, of Fowler, passed away at home with his family on Thursday morning, May 27, 2021.
He was born January 20, 1924 in Mecca, the son of Webster and Blanche Hector Johnson.
He retired from Copperweld, where he had worked 36 years in many positions. He also worked at Biggins Ice Cream Factory, Cortland, where he met his wife, Marjorie A. Pettit, whom he married August 6, 1944. She preceded him in death on September 12, 2004.
Earl was a member of the Hartford Community Church.
He is survived by a son, Harold (Deborah) Johnson of Fowler; three grandchildren, Justin Titchnell, Heather (Justin) Burdick and Harold (Courtney) Johnson, Jr.; and a great-grandson, Lincoln Burdick.
He was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery, West Salem Township.
