Dale R. Jaster, 87, of Johnston township, passed away at his home with his family on Saturday afternoon, March 15, 2025.
He was born January 25, 1938 in Sharpsville, PA, the son of Emil and Sarah McCullum Jaster.
Dale was a farmer who also worked 33 years at Copperweld Steel as a welder.
He was a member of the Calvary Bible Church, the Johnston Vol. Fire Department and the Ashtabula and Trumbull County Antique Tractor Clubs.
Dale was an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death on January 7, 2020 by his wife, Jeri Gorthy Jaster , whom he married on February 2, 1984.
Dale is survived by a daughter, Vickie (Eddie) Kuzmick of Johnston; a son, Daniel (Denise) Jaster of Warren; a step-son, Conrad (Caryn) Brooks of Mayleen, AL; a brother, Gordon Jaster of Johnston; twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Allan and a granddaughter, Lathea Parthemer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale’s name to Southern Care Hospice, 970 Wyndam Court, Boardman, OH 44512.
Friends and relatives may call at the Calvary Bible Church, 4747 Warren Road N.E., Cortland, OH 44410 from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Memorial service will be at noon at the church with Rev. Brandon Byler officiating.
