Obituary
Celia Joan Burns, 90, of Fowler, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
She was born November 9, 1930 in Burghill, the daughter of Blaine and Alice Mae Allen Hall.
She was a self-employed seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and gardening.
She attended the Vernon United Methodist Church.
She married Richard B. Burns on May 17, 1951. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2012.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Perry of Fowler; a son, Douglas (Jeri) Burns of Fowler; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Liszka of Greenville, PA.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Donna Case and Joyce Case; seven sisters; and five brothers.
Friends and relatives are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hartford Community Church, 3312 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, Ohio. Rev. Gary Meikle will officiate.
