Carole Ann Marsh

Carole Ann Marsh, 76, of Burghill, passed away at her residence Friday morning, June 27, 2025.

She was born October 26, 1948 in Long Beach, CA, the daughter of Basil E. and Edna Mae Drissen Phillion.

She was a Lakeview High School graduate and got her Master’s degree from YSU.

Carole started her life’s work as a teacher at Badger High School and retired in 2011 from the Ohio State Penitentiary as a guidance counselor.

She loved traveling all over the world, swimming at the Buhl Club several times a week, working in her perennial flower beds, being a good grandma, visiting the grandchildren as often as she could and spending her winters in Florida.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Arnold Talstein; a daughter, Kimberly (Stuart Forbes) Marsh of Scotland; a son, John Marsh of State College, PA; two grandchildren, Nora Marsh and Calum Forbes.

At her request, there will be no services at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
