Anthony “Tony” Leone, 66, of Burghill, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, November 5, 2025, at home after a long battle with MS.
He was born March 27, 1959 in Grove City, Pennsylvania, the son of Anthony John and Lida Mae Leone.
He graduated from Sharon High School.
He was employed by Farrell Golden Dawn as a meat cutter. He was previously employed as a manager and meat cutter at Donofrio’s. He had also worked as a steel worker at the former Sharon Steel.
Tony enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His good friends, John Solakakis and Daren Hardesty, spent many days with Tony hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching football on Sundays.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Leone at home; his sister, Lisa (Chris) Koss of Sharon; a niece, Jessica Koss of Sharpsville; a nephew, Chris Koss of Sharon; a great-niece and two great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Maria “Mia” Leone.
As per the wishes of Tony and his family, there will be no services for him.
