Pearl Shingledecker, 90, of Burghill, passed away Monday morning, September 2, 2019, at O’Brien Memorial Health Care Center, Masury.
She was born March 16, 1929 in New Wilmington, Pa., the daughter of Norman and Catherine Zook Lehman.
Pearl was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and being with her family.
She was a member of I.H.S. Gospel Ministries in Hermitage.
She married Clarence L. Shingledecker on November 17, 1947. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2007.
Pearl is survived by three sons, Richard Shingledecker of Greenville, Thomas (Doris) Shingledecker of OK and John (Georgianna) Shingledecker of Masury; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six sisters, Ivabelle Reed of Farrell, Barbara Rainey of N.C., Norma Geiwitz of Wheatland, Karen Oliphant of New Castle, Kathy Mumford of Slippery Rock and Carol Locke of Transfer and one brother, Wesley Lehman of Hermitage.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Paddock, two grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.
Friends and relatives may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, Ohio 44424 on Thursday, September 5, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Charles Eckles officiating.
Burial will be in Hartford Township Cemetery.
