Jeri L. Jaster

Jeri L. Jaster, 77, of Johnston, passed away Tuesday morning, January 7, 2020, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 11, 1942 in Dearborn, Michigan, the daughter of Paul and Irene AuClair Gorthy.

Jeri was a homemaker.  She belonged to the Calvary Bible Church of Cortland and loved horseback riding, running 4-wheelers and swimming.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Jaster, whom she married February 2, 1984; a son, Conrad Brooks of Mayleen, Alabama; a step-daughter, Vickie Kuzmick of Johnston; a step-son, Daniel Jaster of Warren; a sister, Judy Price of Detroit, Michigan and a brother, John Gorthy of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Charles Brooks.

Friends and relatives may call at the Calvary Bible Church, 4747 Warren Rd. N.E., Cortland, on Friday, January 10, 2020, from 10 a.m. to noon.  The funeral service will follow at noon with Rev. Brandon Byler officiating.
