Gabrielle Elizabeth Martin

Gabrielle Elizabeth Martin, 20, of Marysville, Ohio, formerly of Hartford, passed away Tuesday evening, July 31, 2018, in Union County as a result of a traffic accident.

She was born February 5, 1998 in Warren, the daughter of Jason and Vanessa Longley Martin.

She was a 2016 graduate of Marysville High School.

Gabby loved animals.  She was at peace when surrounded by her dog "Nina" and her cat "Shuri".  She had a special fondness for ducks.

She was a phenomenal artist and had the most amazing voice.

Gabby enjoyed video games, watching Marvel movies and reading.

She was known by her friends and family for her kindness and generosity toward others.

Gabrielle is survived by her parents of Marysville; a sister, Grace Martin of Marysville; maternal grandparents, Cedelia and Frank Longley of Hartford; paternal grandparents, Vicki and Karl Martin of Burghill; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Martin of Brookfield; three uncles, Jeremy (Erica Mueller) Martin of Youngstown, Jeffrey(Katie) Martin of Lawrence Township, N.J., and Frank (Lyndsay) Longley of Medina; two cousins, Trey and Declan Longley; and Nate Richardson, her very dear friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gabby's name to the Union County Humane Society, 16540 County Home Rd., Marysville, Ohio 43040.  

Friends and relatives may call at the Hartford United Methodist Church, 6846 St. Rt. 305, Hartford on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. to the time of the 11 a.m. funeral service at the Church on Monday, August 6, 2018.  Rev. Stephen Linamen, pastor of the Paynes Corners Christian Church in Brookfield and Gabriele's great uncle, will officiate the service.
