Albert Leo LaClair Jr., 80, of Fowler, passed away Sunday morning, July 7, 2019, at Hospice House, Poland.
He was born January 5, 1939 in Youngstown, the son of Albert L. LaClair Sr. and Ora Schultz LaClair.
He was a 1957 graduate of Springfield High School.
Albert was an Army veteran, enlisting November 3, 1960 and serving for two years.
He retired after 30 years from Greenwood Auto in Cortland, where he was a service manager.
He enjoyed farming and playing golf.
Albert is survived by his wife, Margaret DiCarlo LaClair, whom he married November 1, 1961; two daughters, Michelle LaClair of Liberty and Melissa (Robert Sr.) Taylor of Masury; two sons, Duane (Colleen) LaClair of Akron and Albert LaClair III of Liberty; two grandchildren, Robert (Rachelle) Taylor Jr. and Loren Newman; two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Elijah Taylor; and one brother, Norman Kimble of E. Palestine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and seven brothers.
Friends and family may call at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford, on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from noon to 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.
Burial will be in Hartford Township Cemetery.
