George M. Gerasimek, 88, of Transfer, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2026, at St. Paul Homes in Greenville. He was born March 29, 1938 in Cadiz, Ohio, the son of John and Josephine Kruczeski Gerasimek. After working 35 years at Packard Electric, he retired in 1994 as an artos cutter.  George also retired as owner/operator of Gerasimek Tree Service. Sondra D. Taninecz, 76, of Hartford, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 4, 2026, at Sharon Regional Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1949 in Youngstown, the daughter of Howard and Lillian Taylor Davis. She was a 1967 graduate of Girard High School. Sondra taught in the workshop at the Fairhaven Programs.
