Margaret LaClair Obituary

Margaret LaClair, 81, of Fowler, passed away Thursday morning, November 12, 2020, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family, under the care of Hospice.

She was born December 2, 1938 in Elwood City, PA, the daughter of Dan and Anna Tomei DiCarlo.

Margaret was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

She married Albert LaClair, Jr. November 1, 1961.  He preceded her in death July 7, 2019.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle LaClair of Liberty Twp. and Melissa (Robert) Taylor of Masury; a son, Albert LaClair III of Liberty Twp.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary DiCarlo of Ellwood City, PA.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers and a son, Duane LaClair.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in her name to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrot Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514.

Friends and relatives may call at Galloway Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 St. Rt. 7, Hartford on Monday, November 16, 2020 from noon to 2 p.m.  The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. MaryAnn Rufener officiating.

Burial will be in Hartford Township Cemetery.

As has become the custom, face masks and social distancing will be required.
