E. Marvelle Pucak

E. Marvelle Pucak, 98, of Brookfield, formerly of Hartford, passed away Saturday morning, May 27, 2023, at Elmwood Assisted Living in Hubbard.

She was born December 20, 1924 in Coalburg, the daughter of Russell and Ethel Vasey Johnson.

She married Robert Pucak Sr. on October 12, 1946.  He preceded her in death on December 16, 2007.

She was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith.  She loved camping, spending winters in Florida, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

Marvelle is survived by a son, Rodney (Vicki) Pucak of Wasilla, Alaska; a daughter-in-law, Debra Pucak of Hartford; a sister, JoAnn Johnson of Hartford; five grandchildren, Corby Logan, Shane Pucak, Russell Pucak, Robin Hray, and Randi Pucak; eight great-grandchildren, Harlee Hamilton, Michael Faeo, Hunter Hart, Cherish Pucak, Devyn Hray, Katie Pucak, Tre Pucak, and Preston Gleason; one great-great-granddaughter, Haiden Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tom Pucak; a sister, Avy Sutherland; and a brother, Dale Johnson.

Any memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44512.

There will be no services for Marvelle.
