Charles Reighard Obituary
Charles James Reighard, 76, of Burghill, passed away Friday morning, February 9, 2024, at Concord Care of Hartford.
He was born March 9, 1947 n Youngstown, the son of Clifford and Mary Rita Fleming Reighard.
He was a Joseph Badger High School graduate.
Charles was an assembler at General Motors, retiring in 1999 after working 29 years.
He belonged to the Hartford Methodist Church and the Hartford Optimist Club.
He is survived by his wife, June Bernard Reighard, whom he married November 6, 1971; a daughter, Kristine Reighard of Clearwater, FL; a son, Michael Reighard of Cortland; and three grandsons, Joshua, Brayden and Matthew Reighard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Joan and Kathern; and two infant brothers, James and Edward.
The family would like to thank the staff of Concord Care of Hartford and In Care Hospice for the excellent care they gave Charles and to them.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, in his name.
No services will be held at this time. Graveside services will be at a later date.
