Richard H. Cottrell, 63, of Jefferson, OH, passed away Wednesday evening, February 20, 2019,at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.
He was born August 18, 1955 in Gassaway, W.V., the son of Lonzy and Margaret Russell Cottrell.
He retired from Lincoln Electric in Cleveland after working 30 years.
Richard was a member of the Jefferson Nazarene Church and the Jefferson Eagles Club.
He enjoyed motorcycles, bowling and fishing but his greatest love was being with his children.
Richard is survived by a daughter, Jenna (Cody) Cottrell of Jefferson; three sons, Eric (Jessica) Cottrell of Geneva, Josh (Dana) Cottrell of Columbus and Jeremy (Heather) Cottrell of Orwell; his mother, Margaret Cottrell of Conneautville, PA, eleven grandchildren, Braden, Khilan, Chase, Kamden, Jasmine, Michael, Gunnar, Jonah, Jacob, Shawn, Nathan and triplets due to come at any time;two sisters, Elaine Bonnano of Conneaut and Sue Wilson of Conneautville; and three brothers, Ron Cottrell of Conneautville and Mike and Lonnie Cottrell of Conneaut.
He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Kyle Wilson.
Friends and relatives may call at the Jefferson Nazarene Church, 55 Satin St., Jefferson, OH 44047, on Monday,, February 25, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 10 to 11 a.m.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 26, at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Erin Valenti officiating.
