              Eleanore B. Seaton

Eleanore Bliss Seaton, 98, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Ohio Living Lake Vista retirement home in Cortland, Ohio.

Eleanore was born on November 9, 1920 in Hartford, the daughter of R. Dayton and Bernice Bliss.  She was a lifelong resident of Hartford.

She was a graduate of Hartford School where she met her husband, William J. Seaton.  They were married in 1943.

She worked as an executive assistant for Bank One in Warren.  She retired from the bank in 1985 after 44 years of service.

Eleanore enjoyed playing the organ and piano.  As a member of the Hartford Community Church, she served as the organist. She was also church treasurer, Ladies Guild treasurer and prepared the weekly/monthly church publications.

She will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature.  She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  Cherishing her memory are her son, Douglas W. Seaton and his wife, Linda M. Seaton; her granddaughter, Nicole S. Horchler and her husband, George T. Horchler; and her nephew, Kurt Seaton.  All of Harford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Seaton; a sister, Virginia Turda; and a brother, Bernard R. Bliss.

The services for Eleanore were private.

Entombment was at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
